Our base of operations is in Lelystad, but the new Partner Manager will support and source clients worldwide, where required

Job description

In this role you act as the sales interface between Loading Systems International and its partners and are responsible for maximising existing, and continually sourcing, new opportunities.

You will get full responsibility for existing and prospective clients in your territory. Your product knowledge and commercial qualities will make you a true business partner, advising your clients about the broad product portfolio that Loading Systems has to offer whilst exploring growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering the commercial targets for your region through new and existing partnerships;
  • Independently manage, develop and grow professional relationships with Decision Making Units (DMU) of parties in the market;
  • Promote Loading Systems products by organising and giving presentations, seminars and training sessions;
  • Negotiate terms & conditions, prepare and manage professional quotations and lead and coordinate the active follow-up of sales;
  • Cooperate well with all relevant departments and colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and maximisation of sales and margins;
  • Ensure all enquiries are put onto the company sales database (CRM), issue relevant documentation and prepare and / or revise quotations as necessary;
  • Analyse the markets for Loading Systems products , including competition review and actual market trends;
  • Provide technical specifications and standard drawings to Partners, (sub) contractors and architects and ensure proper liaison with the engineering team when non-standard drawings are required prior to order;
  • Build, develop and sustain mutually beneficial working relationships with all other teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Who we're looking for?

We are looking for an agile, commercially driven professional who can build strong relationships, work independently and has:

  • A Bachelor or master degree and equivalent related (field) experience;
  • Strong organisational skills, good personal insight, tact and ability to foster teamwork;
  • A minimum of 5 years of (international) B2B sales experience and well-developed presentation- and commercial negotiation skills;
  • Experience with selling through indirect sales channels;
  • Good understanding of the logistics industry and preferably the loading bay equipment and industrial door segments;
  • Fluent written and excellent verbal communication skills in either English and German or English and French;
  • Ability and willingness to travel where required.
