Job Description

To provide internal sales support to the external and internal sales team by following up on service sales quotations to ensure a qualified sales pipeline and growth in Order Intake. Continually sourcing new opportunities in line with the company’s sales strategy.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Order Intake growth: Contact all customers, following quotations being submitted, within agreed guidelines on quote chase values.
  • Initiating Sales: Contacting potential or existing customers to promote products or services using a structured script or consultative approach.
  • Lead Management: Qualifying prospects to determine their needs and directing high value leads to field sales teams.
  • Handling Objections: Using persuasion and negotiation skills to address customer doubts and overcome resistance to a sale.
  • Relationship Management: Following up with customers after a sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business or "up-selling".
  • Liaise closely with the After Sales Team members and engineers to ensure all sales enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining the client database on Salesforce.
  • Qualify service sales quotations on an ongoing basis to ensure the sales pipeline in Salesforce is kept up to date.
  • Make a record of all customer discussions and outcomes in Salesforce.
  • Maintain contact with customers during the decision-making processes through to order placement.
  • Contribute relevant information for sales forecast prior to attending One-to-One meetings.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience of working in sales or customer services.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) to track leads and log calls.
  • Exceptional verbal skills to build trust instantly, read customer tone and explain complex products in simple terms.
  • Active listening skills using information from the prospect to identify pain points and offer tailored solutions.
  • The ability to handle frequent rejection without losing motivation is critical.
  • Proficiency in overcoming objections and asking for the sale (closing) is crucial.
