Information on the coronavirus (COVID-19)

Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we have precautions in place to ensure a healthy environment for you and your employees when they come into contact with our field engineers and salespeople.

We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO) and local health agencies for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and we are following the guidance of government and public health officials. We are reinforcing these agencies' recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures with our own local management teams.

When you have scheduled a meeting with our sales staff

Given the impact of COVID-19 on how we operate, we have been instructing our sales staff and engineers to reduce personal contact as much as possible. We are encouraging working from home and video conference calls as a preference to face-to-face meetings. All our employees are equipped with Skype for Business to facilitate this. We kindly request your support with this way of working whilst we continuously evaluate the evolving nature of this situation. We will frequently update our policies to provide you the most flexibility possible during these challenging times.

How can we further contribute to preventing the causes of vulnerability for your employees/colleagues?

Cold, cooling or draughts in itself do not cause a cold; however, draughts or cooling can increase the risk of an infection. Research has shown that (sudden) cooling is a stress factor, which reduces our resistance and makes us more susceptible to infections. The mucous membranes in the nose and throat may be more susceptible to infection when cold.
