Installation Engineer - based in the Midlands

Job Description
Carry out installation activities as required on new and existing contracts to meet commercial imperatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Be responsible for the standards and quality of loading bay installations, effectively meeting customer specifications as directed by the Project Supervisor and any other key personnel.
- An ability to accurately interpret and install equipment as defined in the process documentation, installation manuals and engineering drawing information and specifications.
- Ensure that work undertaken meets the required construction industry standards and Easilift quality standards.
- Ensure that completed installation documentation is accurately completed and returned to the Project staff in the required timescales.
- Liaise with technical engineers to resolve issues on an ongoing basis.
- Be responsible for delivering product training to customer representatives.
- Ensure customer receives accurate feedback on services delivered, either verbally or written as requested.
- As and when required, assist with PPM visits whilst making repair and replacement recommendations to the Service staff and customer representatives.
Who we’re looking for:
- Ideally based in the Midlands
- You will ideally have a background in any of the following: electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulic, or equivalent experience.
- Practical experience of industrial doors and associated loading bay equipment is not required but is an advantage
- Someone who has proven customer service skills and is comfortable recommending further works on-site (training provided).
- You will have the flexibility of being able to work away from home throughout the UK and out of hours.

Remuneration:
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Basic annual salary of £31,000-£34,000 + on-call payments
Joining bonus T&C:
Payment 1 - £500 subsequent to 4 months employment
Payment 2 - £500 subsequent to 8 months employment
Payment 3 - £1000 subsequent to 12 months employment
Additional Pay:
Staying away from home overnight payment of £30.00 per night
